My Story
After serving in the Army, I took the traditional path—got a corporate job and thought I had achieved success thinking that I could finally begin the next exciting chapter of my life!
What I thought was an achievement quickly turned into something I dreaded. I realized that the grass wasn’t much greener on the other side. The job wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be and I was feeling financially stuck. I had relocated to an expensive city for my new career and I was still living paycheck-to-paycheck.
After doing a ton of research, I learned that I needed to take control of my finances because continuing this lifestyle until 65 wasn’t what I wanted. That was in 2018.
I started my financial journey back in 2019 by sharing my experience on Instagram as Millennial Money Veteran.
I unlearned bad financial habits, took control of my finances, and built a plan to reach financial independence.
I still remember how it felt to be financially stuck so I’m here to help you get back control.
